According to the report, the United Nations warns that 14,000 babies in Gaza could die within 48 hours unless urgent humanitarian aid is allowed to reach them. This comes after Israel partially lifted an 11-week blockade, but only five trucks entered the strip—and none have reached the starving population yet. As Israeli airstrikes kill dozens in minutes, the UK, France, and Canada have issued their strongest warning yet to Israel, demanding it halt its military offensive and allow unimpeded aid. UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher tells the BBC, “We need to flood Gaza with food, medicine, and baby formula now.”
