As a business owner you must always follow ethical standards in dealing with the different behaviors of your customers. You are also a customer and once your ego is stirred, that would create a mental commotion that could trigger yourself to be rude. So, once a customer approaches you of the availability of the products she is looking and if there's no answer from you expect that customer to insult you. That would cause some percentages loss of your sales.

It's what I experienced today, a customer entered the store where I was in, she kept on looking something which her eyes cannot provide, so she approached someone who happened to be the owner,but the woman just passed by her as if saw and heard nothing. The customer got angry and insulted the owner. The owner was embarrassed and she deserved it. The customer wanted to buy imported canned goods from Switzerland. Never mess with a customer. Control your mood.
 
Sometimes it is very difficult to understand customers behavior because we are created differently. We have to learn how to be positive disposed on daily basis! If we are happy, we can react positively to any customer know matter his behavior!
 
Self control is a must to maintain the self's composure to avoid misunderstanding. Some customers are impulsive and cannot hold their tempers. They always believe they are right. So, business owners must be cautious.
 
It's important to understand the customer behavior to satisfy them of the products they are looking for. It must be remembered that customers are assets in business. They bring money to your business thus making you profit more.
