Uruguay’s beaches spark political debate

Uruguayan politicians debated beach “bathability” and language use. For me, the most relevant aspect is environment. Personally, I think it’s fascinating how beaches become political battlegrounds. What surprises me is the intensity of rhetoric. For me, the most important step is science-based policy. In the end, I believe Uruguay must protect its coastal heritage.
