According to the report, a Ukrainian drone attack on August 24 sparked a fire at Russia’s Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, damaging an auxiliary transformer and reducing one unit’s capacity by 50 percent. The plant confirmed no injuries or radiation leaks. Russia reported intercepting 32 drones across central regions, including one near Moscow, prompting airport suspensions and flight delays.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon restricted Ukraine’s use of US-made ATACMS missiles inside Russia but approved selling 3,550 ERAM missiles. Separately, NORAD intercepted a Russian reconnaissance aircraft near Alaska.
