From Manila, Philippines news, the United States (US) on Monday expressed concern over the China Coast Guard’s (CCG) action against vessels of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) near Bajo de Masinloc.

The report stated that the United States stands with the Philippines in upholding freedom of navigation and condemning the China Coast Guard’s dangerous actions that disrupted a lawful Philippine mission to provide supplies to fisher folk within the Philippine EEZ (exclusive economic zone),” the US Embassy in Manila said in a statement.

The report added that the incident occurred on June 20 within the country’s EEZ in the South China Sea, where BFAR Region 6 (Western Visayas) vessels were delivering support to traditional fishing communities.

My lord, this is not new news
The United States is standing with the Philippines again
They say the China Coast Guard disrupted the mission
Near Bajo de Masinloc at sea
They say this is a security risk
They are banning the travel of Filipino fishermen
But remember this South China Sea
It belongs to many people, not one person
Every son and his judge
Let's not just sit around and shout at each other
Sea matters should be discussed at the table
Not by force or bullets
