Hundreds of American and Filipino troops concluded Monday a new combat exercise in the northern Philippines that tested their endurance in more than a week of brutal heat and volatile weather and braced them to respond to any threat in tropical jungles and on scattered islands, two US and Philippine generals said.

Reports said that the Biden administration has been strengthening an arc of military alliances in the Indo-Pacific to better counter China, including in any possible confrontation over Taiwan and other Asian flashpoints. The move has dovetailed with Philippine efforts to shore up its territorial defenses amid escalating disputes with Beijing in the South China Sea. The drill ended peacefully and the Ph government thanked the US President, Biden.

So now whatever the drill was trying to achieve would be achieved would have been accomplished now.
That's a preparation in case China declares war, God forbid. It's scary and deadly, There's nowhere to hide, 😭.

Well, it is always better too to get ready for fights because if you preach peace and the other don't angree then you can also attack them

Hoping war will never happen between Philippines and China. There are also millions Chinese migrated in the Philippines and many merchants and businesses owners. How could they kill their own people.

Our previous Ph President Duterte was brave and Chinese never acted like the way they acted with the new president Marcos. Duterte always called the Chinese president and they were friends.

So what changed now. l think the the new president should adopt thr old system of the previous president and see how things goes
President Marcos is not as brave as Duterte. Former president Duterte went to the West Philippine Sea and the Chinese were so obedient, polite and respectful. He's not afraid to traverse the sea but now it's a different story.

Well, people are just different and their personalities differs. But it is good to copy a good thing that is working though.

That is what angers the Filipino people, to at least the president to show his bravery to defend the sovereignty of the people.
