US President Donald Trump announced Saturday, September 27, he is directing the Department of Defense to send "all necessary Troops" to Portland, Oregon, a city he described as "war ravaged," to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities which he claims are "under siege" by Antifa and "other domestic terrorists."



In a social media post, Trump stated, "At the request of Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops... I am also authorizing Full Force, if necessary."
