According to the report, the US is probing a leak of highly classified US intelligence about Israel’s plans for retaliation against Iran. The documents, dated October 15 and 16, began circulating online on October 18 after being posted on a Telegram account.
The report said that the documents are marked top secret and have markings indicating they are meant to be seen only by the US and its “Five Eyes” allies. The “Five Eyes” security alliance consists of the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
The report also stated that one US official termed the leak of the intel documents “deeply concerning,” according to a CNN report. A US official told CNN that the probe is examining who had access to the alleged Pentagon documents. Any such leak would automatically trigger an investigation by the FBI alongside the Pentagon and other US intelligence agencies. In a statement, the Pentagon told the Associated Press it was aware of the reports of the documents but did not have further comment.
They can, but Iran knows the location of Israel's nuclear reactor. If Iran attacks it, the Israelis will be leaving Israel to escape from radiation. On the other hand, the threats to attack Iran some nuclear reactors could be used by Iran as a golden cause to produce its nuke.
