The United States Department of Homeland Security is set to deport no fewer than 79 Nigerians named on its ‘worst-of-the-worst’ criminal list
The detainees, most of whom are ex-convicts, were arrested by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as part of crackdown initiated under the Trump administration.
According to information on the DHS website, the 79 Nigerians were convicted for various offences, including drug peddling, rape, fraud, assault, manslaughter and robbery.
The DHS said, “The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst of the worst criminal aliens arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
