According to the report, two soldiers from the United States were physically assaulted by members of a nationalist Turkish youth group in Izmir, Turkey, while dressed in civilian clothes.

The report added that The attack, carried out by the Turkey Youth Union (TGB), escalated when five other US soldiers intervened, leading to a police response that resulted in the detention of 15 attackers.

It is not fair for these 15 youths to attack the US soldiers who did not harm them. One US police on a civilian and attacked by the Turkish youths leading to physical injury of the US soldiers when the other five intervened.

At least the police officers in Turkey arrived and jailed the 15 Turkish attackers.
