Most of the wireless keyboards, mice have a wireless receiver which is different from a bluetooth receiver. Why do they not use the standard bluetooth receiver for connectivity?

Am not sure why but i am sure they choose to do it this way for a reason, so this method might be more suitable.
A crucial argument because it is confusing to see so many devices come with a USB dongle. The main reason is that the 2.4GHz technology used by these devices is faster and has less latency than Bluetooth. This is very important for people who play games or want every touch to be seen instantly without waiting.
