Face lock is a feature of smartphones that a map of your face is captured and stored on the phone. It is then matched with the facial properties of the phone handler to give access to the phone.

I have been thinking that with face lock, anyone can just have access to your phone while you are asleep and unlock it. What do you think? Any disadvantages of face unlock?

That is true when you are sleeping you may not be aware that somebody can have access to your security feature. I haven't considered this feature as my lock for my device. I am still comfortable with my security pin.

The only disadvantage is that in a situation where you go into a fight and all your eyes are swollen, your phone might not recognize you 😂
On a more serious note though I have not used this feature before, I still prefer using finger print and password.

I do not lock my phone. I am the only user of it and keep it in a safe place. I am always required to use the face lock or number combinations, but I disliked it. I had done ot in one of my cellular phones and found it hard to unlock.

This got me laughing out loud. Ironically, the face unlock feature would still recognize you. I think it is stressful having to carry the phone to my face to unlock.

Haha, this cracked me up. You are right - when your eyes are swollen, it can be challenging to unlock your phone. I use face lock too, but I am kind of worried that someone might unlock my phone while I am asleep. LOL. I still stick to the traditional password, a combination of numbers.
