Have you used Facebook Marketplace to buy and sell things? What do you think about Facebook Marketplace? Do you think it s a good platform to start an online business? Well, based on my personal experience, I believe Facebook Marketplace is a good platform for online business. That's because it is free and it is a part of Facebook the largest social media site.

I have displayed a few products there, I haven't gotten any sales yet just clicks.
Did you inform your Facebook friends about what you're selling? You may message them one at a time. Ask help to your sister to invite her Facebook friends to visit your online store.

I have informed a few but not much, I mostly advertise my products on Whatsapp. Maybe I can try it this way and see how it turns out.

You advertise it on the social media site where you display your products. If it's on Facebook, you announce it there for them to know.

Facebook Marketplace is owned by META and it is installed on the Facebook site itself not outside. You can not transact physically. it is a virtual marketplace where people could reach to your business. I have my displays on FB market place.

For some strange reason, Facebook Marketplace works very well for businesses, at least in countries that are not yet First World, because in countries like First World countries I think it is more convenient to sell and buy through Amazon, eBay, etc. But it is good place, you can get everything from cars, houses, computers, cell phones, etc. It is let's say a peer to peer business so you can deal directly with the owner and buy what you need without an intermediary that is very good, but you always have to check the product to not be scammed

Facebook disallows fake people to display items on FB Marketplace. Those sellers like me pay Meta, monthly. There are many sellers online also known like Shopee, Temu, Lazada and more.

Yeah, Facebook market place is also a good platform for selling our online products as to my experience is concerned. But it is not free to display there. I am paying $3.2 a month.
Really? Well, I can access it for free. I have to pay only when I have to boost my listing through paid ads.

The sellers on Facebook Marketplace were instructed by Meta to pay monthly. It seems like a rent for the place he he. Well, anyway, I can display many things there with that monthly rent.
