Using substandard material for government projects is cheating and wasting public money.

Some contractors in my city are using substandard materials and techniques for government projects. The result is buildings, roads, drains or just boundary walls crumble or get damaged very soon. This causes inconvenience to the public. I should say not only are the contractors cheating the public but wasting public money which they have no right to do. The contractors are becoming rich by laundering public money.

This is not only cheating, but can also endanger the lives of others out there in some cases. This is a very common program here in my country, especially when it comes to constitution of roads.

That's true. The entire city public structures will crumble one day. That may even be the cause many unwanted deaths.

It is quite common here as well. The main roads often get damaged easily. Repairs are done, but within a few months, they deteriorate again.
