Veteran Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has tackled young Nigerians — especially men — who use age as a weapon of insult.

In a video posted on her social media page, Henshaw called out what she described as a “tired old line” of calling women “old” as a form of mockery, saying the trend is both laughable and ignorant.

“It’s always the young men,” she said. “When they want to insult you, the first thing is to call you ‘old woman.’ Is that supposed to hurt me?”

The actress questioned the logic behind it all, especially since many of the same people wish others long life on their birthdays.

This gender war really needs to stop in the Nigeria social space online. The males are always looking for any opportunity to attack the females, and the female the same thing.
