Viral Posters: Does making 30 posts in a n hour on a forum considered spam?

We have people that can really make posts on forum. They can make as much as over 30 posts on the space of an hour on forums. Do you consider it spamming if a person makes that much posts within an hour?

It mostly depends on the forum rules and regulations. But posting 30 times within a short period of time can be considered as spam most times.

I wouldn't consider it as being spam like as long as you're making quality posts on the forum. It is only spam like if you're not staying on topic on the community. Helping the forum grow and being active is awesome.

On BMF it is considered spamming, I don't know about other forum sites but what I feel, if you are posting something meaningful it should not be considered spamming.

Some forum sites place posting limits to prevent users from posting that much within a hour. Some don't even allow 30 posts in a day.

That's their way to avoid spammers. Even here after posting few posts the rates decrease so that people may not spam.

If you are making a lot of posts in a short time, you are basically flooding, and it is considered spam even when your posts are good

Absolutely. It's better to limit your posts and try to be more descriptive on your posts. People try to make money fast on the forums and in the process they spam.

Some forums even have timer between the two posts, especially while creating topics. Some forums also have limit on how many posts you can make in a day

I read BMF has that. You cannot post more than 10 posts in a hour. Though I am not sure.

Many forums have rules against excessive posting, and posting 30 times in an hour would likely violate such rules.
