Volvol island

Volvo Island is a tiny, man-made island located in a flooded strip mine near Ottawa, Illinois, what makes this island so special is that there is an actual volvol on the tiny island.

A mechanic named Scott Mann decided to do this probably for fun, but over time it became a well known landmark where people come from far and wild to see.

How crazy! I had never heard of a place like this, it seems like something out of a movie. I love how something so simple, like putting a car on an island, can become a point of interest for so many people. It's amazing how the strangest ideas sometimes end up leaving their mark.

Lol so true, i was surprised when i came across it today on Facebook and i actually did a google search, and it actually came out.

There is also Volvo brand of cars. That island might be famous in that place. I have not heard about that island.

It's not really a real island, the own of the Volvo car place the car there, then used an excavator to remove connecting roads to where the car is, thus creating a mini man made island that can contain just the car.
