Want to start live streaming. Which tools would I need?

I want to start live streaming my studio sessions. And I want to know the tools that I need to get to be able to make live streaming possible? Would I be needing a camera to get quality live streaming or a smartphone can do?

You don’t need special software for most setups. Usually, you just plug the external mic into your phone’s headphone jack or USB-C/lightning port, depending on the mic.
