Check out this D.C. story. One family has had over a hundred boxes delivered to them without even ordering them. Brittany, a local resident, says the packages were for guests at the Arlo Hotel, but unfortunately the family clicked on her address on Amazon.
You know the tricky part? Her address is at the top of Amazon’s list and is only one letter different from the hotel’s. That’s why every order is sent to her house instead of the hotel.
Now imagine, for six months straight, the boxes are being delivered to them as free gifts. Amazon says they’re in the process of resolving this issue. In the meantime, Brittany is living a life of free boxes.
