According to the recent report, Russia and Ukraine swapped at least 300 prisoners of war on Dec 30 in an exchange brokered by the United Arab Emirates ahead of New Year's Eve.

The report said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Kyiv had received 189 prisoners. The Russian Defence Ministry reported earlier that each side had freed 150 prisoners of war. However, there was no explanation for the discrepancy in the numbers reported by both sides.

The other side only freed 150 prisoners, so there was a mismatch of the number of prisoners. Maybe those 39 were killed by Russia . This is a good blow to these warring countries giving freedom to these prisoners, it is heartbreaking to see these prisoners met by their loved ones.
