Website owner giving excuses not to pay

If a website owner is giving flimsy excuses not to pay a member for the work he or she has done, what would you do? Would you complain about the website or just stop wasting your time and use another website/app which pays members?

If my complaining won't make any difference, then there is no need complaining. I will simply move on to another site that pays.

I would just forget about it and move on. By the way, I do not work with websites that have not established credibility.

This is why you need to be careful with a site before starting out. You need to be sure it is a credible site
