The potential harms of artificial intelligence are a complex and multifaceted issue, spanning ethical, social, economic, and security concerns. It is important to note that AI itself is not inherently harmful; the potential for harm arises from how it is designed, developed, deployed, and used. AI powered automation has the potential to displace workers in various industries, leading to unemployment and economic inequality. While AI may also create new jobs, the transition can be difficult for those whose skills become obsolete.
 
Artificial Intelligence is not the problem , it is the intent that determines how AI will be use for the betterment of humanity. AI can be integrated into agriculture, academics, healthcare etc. Artificial intelligence can also be integrated into military, security, etc
 
Artificial intelligence can be used to carry out illegal activities, these days we now have people using it to create fake videos and so on to mislead and even scam others.

Agree, I also read news and TV news about the abuses done by people to AI.They're using AI to do crimes. They can mimic and the victims will be trapped believing the voice is their family member asking for ransom money.

Yes, you can even do a live video call with someone only to find out it was faked. It is well though.

There is also the danger of hacking of artificial intelligence applications. Consider that the inventors of Artificial intelligence are nicknamed the new Oppenheimers. Do you think this comparison is appropriate?
 
Yes, it seems a bit exaggerated to me lol although there will be people who use AI to do evil, clearly not everyone and there are also several people who use AI to avoid this, it's like an AI war, but beyond those obvious dangers, AI seems to me to help more than it can harm.

Exactly, at the end of the day it is simply an assistant, nothing more than that, the final product depends 100% on who uses the AI as such, there are people who are better using AI and there are people who are worse, it all depends on each person.

Some bad elements do have corrupted minds twisting the importance of AI to humans. All that's in their minds is money to satisfy their foolish wants like drugs.

Not only for drugs, that's their excuse, they use it to make money for their use in general, they are people who have no principles or honor and they strive to scam people in a disgusting way using AI for evil, unfortunately there will always be people like that, so you have to know how to deal with them, evil exists and they are proof of this.

Yes, true, there are proofs on this from the police reports anywhere in the world AI being abuse for personal gains of the ruthless people. They're the one's harming humanity, not AI.
