Business needs to have lots of publicity to make sales. But there are some publicity that damage a brand instead of building it. What are the examples and cases of bad publicity that a business does not need?

A situation where negative news is heard about the company is definitely bad publicity. Let's say for example a manager caught cheating or stealing.

The first and most obvious is advertising that offends people. Clearly, companies don't want to hire advertising like this that is high risk and have complaints against them for offending people. It's the advertising that companies avoid the most, and I understand them. Who wouldn't avoid something like this, having a company knowing all the legal problems that can arise?

Bad publicity not only worsens the image of a business but also harms or decreases sales turnover, some examples of bad publicity such as: negative customer comments on social media, damaged or poor quality products, bad events such as hacking, violating government regulations, etc.
