Tension among the staff team is the last thing that any business owner would want. It would make it difficult for the staff of the organization to work. It gets worse when the tension is caused by the owner of the business himself or herself.

What are the actions that a business owner can take and it would generate tension between staff?

It's important to understand that tension within a team can arise for many reasons, and in many cases, the business owner's attitude plays a crucial role. A common mistake that can generate conflict is a lack of clear communication. When an owner doesn't express their expectations or changes transparently, employees can feel confused or demotivated, which increases tension. Another action that can create problems is a lack of recognition or fairness in decision-making, such as favoritism or preferential treatment, which can breed resentment. Furthermore, imposing changes without consulting the team or explaining the reasons can generate resistance and discontent. An owner who also acts in an authoritarian manner, without listening to their employees or valuing their opinions, definitely creates a tense environment. Ultimately, the key lies in open communication, respect, and transparency to prevent these actions from generating internal conflicts.

One common one is favoritism. Once the business owner begins to show this to a particular staff, it will definitely create tension.
Definitely, this will bring tension anywhere no one wants to be cheated. You need apply fairness to all workers

Any act of favouritism towards a particular staff from the higher ups of the organisation would definitely create tension among the staff.
Favoritism for staff is like a samurai being given a golden katana and others being left in the dark. This move creates tension and morale drops. The team becomes like a divided dojo with no unity. When there is fairness, everyone feels valued and loyalty becomes like sakura blossoming in spring on every corner. When you are well organized, the organization runs like a bullet train without stopping and every ninja does a clean job.

Leaving sensitive job position or role to some people. This can make others feel.lesx valued and irritated
Giving sensitive positions to a few people often brings nausea to others, they feel unappreciated and they are left on the sidelines. It's like giving out rice and meat and then giving others only the broth. It leaves a bitter taste in the heart and anger boils like a stove fire.

It's like the story of Icarus when he flew too high and his wings melted. If you give only one person a sensitive role without properly assigning them, others feel like they have been left on the ground without wings. They become sad and angry, and the work environment becomes like an ocean with rough waves.
