Many people don't create a budget, of course for various different reasons such as it's complicated, there are spending restrictions, or their income is too small so they don't need a budget and other reasons. But for people who have goals/plans and look to the future, whatever their income, they will certainly create a budget as a benchmark for their expenses not to exceed their income. So, in your opinion, what are the benefits of a budget in personal finance?

Creating a budget helps you to prevent overspending. If you stick to the budget, you earn more than you spend.
That's right, the main function of the budget is as a spending control where you can prevent waste, ensure all expenses are in accordance with your financial goals, budgeting also allows you to make long-term plans.

A budget makes you aware of how much you can spend or how much you should spend in a month, most of the time it is done in order to save so it encourages saving, and helps you to improve your personal finances and know how to manage them better.
