What are the boundaries that an employer has to respect in relation with staff?

Some employers have degraded themselves so much before their staff and end up losing respect in the process. That's because they refuse to respect the simple boundaries they should as employers.

What are the simple boundaries that employers should respect so as not to lose respect before staff.

A business owner should never go physical on his staff. It would definitely run him or her down to the point of losing respect.

Employers need to be friendly with their staffs but at the same time set boundaries. There needs to be a limit as to the things they say or do.
