In small businesses/companies, the customer service role is often handled by the business owner, while larger businesses generally have a dedicated customer service department or team with trained and professional staff to interact with customers. There are various types of customer service, such as walk-in customer service, similar to a bank office, where customers interact directly with customer service. Customer service can also be provided via email, phone, social media, etc.
