An economic embargo is a prohibition or restriction of economic activities, export-import trade, investment, etc. issued by a superpower or international organization against a country. The United States often sets embargo policies against other countries that are considered problematic or violate global rules with the aim of suppressing and making it difficult for the economy of a country affected by the embargo to obtain commodities that are badly needed by the country. So in your opinion, what are the impacts of an economic embargo on a country?
