I just read that Iran is about to shut the waterway route that carries 20% of the world's crude oil supply in response to the US strike on them. How would all of the happening in Israel and Iran with the involvement of the United States affect the crypto market?

If the United States (US) officially joins the Israel-Iran war, the crypto market will drop by up to 20%, as risk-off sentiment will dominate the global market, and crypto liquidity will decrease as investors pull out their crypto.

I think if the oil waterway blockage affects the price of crude oil, it would affect the crypto market to fall too.

When there is political uncertainties, there will be fear among investors and they begin to pull up their assets, which results in massive sell off, thus dropping the price.

The United States has already become somewhat involved in the conflict against Iran, and nothing really serious happened in crypto. There were falls and rebounds, and everything remained the same. I think it was a big market trap.
