What are the most important factors to consider when buying a computer?

Price and specifications of the computer are the major factors which I consider while purchasing the computer. I also prefer to purchase lighter computers which can be easily moved.

Specifications is the most important. First, you have to determine what you are going to be doing with it. It is the type of work that will determine the type of specification you need.

First of all, I would seek for SSD. Nowadays, a computer lacking a SSD is slow like a snail. Even the simple browsing is heavy, as the pages became too heavy, compared to 20 or 25 years ago, during the good times of Linux Precise Pangolin (maybe Windows98 also). Especially in a cheap computer, only owning a 4 GIGA memory and no powerful graphic card, a SSD makes my online jobs feasible (I would like a computer owning at least a RAM of 12 GIGA with a graphic card owning its separate memory, but I cannot afford such a device so well featured. Technology prices in Latin America are shamefully high.

Some of the things I would consider is the rom and ram, the processor is also very important. Due to the kind of work I use it for, I have to be careful what I buy.
