There are some people who don't like to talk about their jobs, and some of them even don't want to tell you what they do. I wonder why they are not talking about their jobs. Is it because they feel shame about their job?
I have been in that position before. When people expect or assume that you're doing a particular kind of job but what you are doing in reality is far lower than that standard. You might not be able to tell people about your work then.
Yes, some people are uneasy sharing about their career life, especially now that a lot of people are becoming more judgmental. Also, they are unhappy with their jobs that they are not proud to share them with others.
Those who dislike to declare their jobs feel insecure like working as laborers, construction workers, or house helpers. They must not be ashamed of their jobs because they are paid decently and can feed their families.
There are actually different reasons for each individuals as to why they are insecure of their jobs. In most cases it could be that they are not as skilled as others in that field hence they constantly feel insecure.
