What are the Risks of Sending Crypto Without a Memo/Tag?

There are several types of crypto that require a Tag/memo when receiving the crypto such as XRP, TON, XLM, ATOM, NOT, LUNC etc.

Last night I was going to send Toncoin from OKX to Faucetpay, but OKX did not provide an option to include a Tag/memo so I canceled. Memos/tags are very important so if we enter the wrong memo or we do not include a memo then several risks can occur such as:
1. Losing crypto
2. Delayed delivery.
3. Getting lost to another account.

I have always been at the receiving end but haven't actually sent crypto to others only on a very small occasion since I don't use it for most of my transactions. I will take note of this in the future.

Many crypto users often forget, especially when sending crypto using a crypto address scan, they will immediately click send without paying attention to the tag/memo so that the coins will be lost.

Tag/memo is not all that relevant because if you lose your cryptocurrency through sending to wrong address, you better forget about it. I seriously doubt if Tag can help you.
