What aspects of your business don't you delegate to staff?

For some of us that have running businesses, we have staff that help us in the running of the business. And for most business people that have a staff, they delegate a part or some parts of the operations of the business to staff.

Which part of your business don't you delegate to staff? As for me, it is sales and marketing. I handle those myself. What of you?

Though my business is still small and does not have need for a staff, but when I finally hire one, one aspect of the business I would like to run personally would be the area of decision making.

I'm yet to start my business but she I do I will be in charge of administration and accounting. These two areas will be run by me.

You want to be in charge of accounting? That's how you would finish the company's money. On a serious note, a boss shouldn't be handling money in a company. That's how I feel. He can easily spend it since he is the boss.

I don't allow my staff to handle anything relating to finances and decision making. These days it is difficult to find trustworthy people. One of my staff I trusted so well, disappear with my money till date.

I can't even delegate sales entirely to sales people. I would institute a system to track sales even on the field. I have seen how sales people sell and pocket the funds leaving the business in ruins.

Same can happen with even a worker. The person can steak the company money. I rather see to the financial aspect of my business

That's right we can't just trust people when it comes to handling finances. So such place should be handled alone.

I understand the angle that you are coming from. But I actually handover my business finances to a staff that I trust because I know I am not good with money. I do accounting with that staff every 2 days but I don't touch business money. They pay me salary.
