100$ have different value around the world and every country have different exchange rate of 100$ to their currency, my country currency is ETHIOPIAN BIRR or ETB and on the legal market 100$ worth around 5500 ETB and on the black market it is around 12,000 ETB, and we can buy with 5500 ETB 3 jeans pants and 1 t-shirts.
What about in your country how much does 100$ worth and what can you buy with it.

I can get a lot of groceries for $100. Shopping for groceries is one of my stress relievers, and I prefer it over buying clothes. I can buy one sack of rice, canned items, fresh veggies, dog food, toiletries, and other necessities. However, everything has gotten more expensive as a result of inflation.

In my country $100 is equivalent to 1,500,000 IDR, if I eat a simple lunch on average it costs 25,000 IDR, meaning $100 will be able to take lunch around 60 times.
Ho wow, that is a lots of money, that means usd have high value, and can do many things with it, also in my country usd have high power but not that much $1 is around 55 ETB, and $100 will be 5500 ETB.

Currently my currency is too low compared to the USD, because the government easily prints money, the high circulation of the currency will make the value lower, especially the USD as the world currency benchmark.

In my country, this is the amount a single needs to purchase food and drinks in the supermarket for the whole month. It could be also the average amount for a one day vacation for a couple, including accommodation, a dinner and the price for a transportation by train and metro.

Things are rather expensive in the United States right now.

Here are some different things we can purchase for around $100 locally.

#1: 9 Chicken Sandwich combo meals from Zaxby's

#2: 37 Gallons of Gas ($2.69 per gallon)

#3: Groceries and Personal Care items from Walmart (groceries last approximately 7 to 10 days for one individual) [21 items in total]

#4: Renting an apartment per month

#5: Monthly Payment for a $35,000 Vehicle:

These are examples of what I could get for $100 in my local area. If we want to be more technical, most jobs locally pay anywhere from $12 to $15 per hour. Which means it would take someone anywhere from 6.67 hours up to 8.33 hours of work.

If a government starts to print a lots of money that is a sign of inflation and it is a bad sign, in my country also the government started to print a money and we can see the price different every single day and some times the price change happens in some hour difference.

This is a common mishap among Latin countries: inflation is used to skyrocket whatever the economy abroad (Argentina, first of all, faces a 140% inflation). If 15 years ago an entire family in my country could live along the entire month with the amount of 100 dollars, now it's only for food and drinks per person. 100 dollars is also the fee for a medical consultation near the capitals in my country. And it looks like worse for people living among countries that cannot print money because they depend on supranational central banks (this is the case of southern European countries depending on the BCE).

With 100 dollars in my country, I could buy groceries for a month. You can also buy other things, like clothes and bags.
Whatt?? for 100 dollars you can buy a groceries for the whole month? oh men you must be in heaven, you are so lucky because in my country 100$ have very small value, and it can't buy a groceries for a month.
