What defines slow moving products?

There are products that are known to be slow moving. I imagine they don't sell as fast as other products stocked. What length of time does a product typically stay for it to be regarded as a slow moving product?

For me, when I have sold majority of the products in that cycle, the remainder of that cycle is the slow moving products.

An item is considered stale when it has not been sold in a store for a long time. Usually, a clear sign of this is when there are no sufficient sales for three to six months. At this point, the company will start to reduce prices or launch promotions. It also depends on the type of product and its availability in the market at the time.
