What do I do when top businesses in the industry impose a high price for every business in the industry to sell?

Some business industry have unions and one thing that those unions do is to fix prices. Some unions fix prices that are way higher than the range of normal profits.

What do I do as a small player in the industry when the union fixes a price that is too high for the consumers to afford?

In situations like this you don't really have much a choice, cause businesses like this usually have organizations where they discuss and agree on a particular price.

I would continue to sell at a reasonable price to my own customers. Or do they impose their high prices by force?

This is one of the biggest problems, even in the countries where you have functional democracy. The only way to tackle this is through government intervention.

This looks difficult and hands tie for small players in the industry. you can seek the intervention of the higher authority to get things right.

You don't have any option than to yield to the high price unless your business would be attacked especially if you are a member of the union.

But if there's no way out then you just have to go along with the rules. And hope that things sorts itself out.
