What do you do with the mal-function items in your shop?

Do you have malfunctioning items in your business? And if there are, what do you do to them? Are you going to throw them in the trash or keep them? Well, I interviewed someone who owned a shop full of home appliances and saw him drilling a kettle and pots. I also saw other workers preparing small items . I thought that a business like that wouldn't do something like preparing because the buyer's money is not stones. And should they sell back the broken items? The answer to my doubt was, that they sell the repaired products at a very low price rather than losing a bigger amount. Would you buy a repaired item?

If there are of no use, I will throw them away or sell them as junk so I can have more space to put in other products.

It is also hard to buy repaired items, what if it is still weak and damaged? In case you do, you better try it before paying.

I think that we just have to ensure that we avoid stocking malfunctioned by doing proper checks before offloading into the store. For the ones already on stock, cut the price and sell.

It's better to hire a technician if those mal - function could still be utilized and sold at a cheaper price.

No I don't like repaired product or items I used to feel it would not last . So I would not waste my money on it

I want to ask how the malfunctioning products got into the stock of the business in the first instance.

I will throw those malfunctions or sell them in the junk shop. They will not be useful being damaged.

If the supplier are not taking back the faulty products, I will try selling them for a very low price.

It is also possible to request for a replacement of the mal-function products from the product provider. But, there might be an agreement made , after some months return only .

A business owner or staff should be able to run basic repairs of the things they deal on. That can help manage the losses from malfunctioning products.

It is also best if the business owner has utility maintenance who could do repairs to avoid losses. The products that are repaired can be sold cheaper.
