What do you think causes some people to overshare on social media?

Some people have a habit of oversharing on social media. I once saw someone post her address and contact number, which I find disturbing. Maybe she did it for attention. What do you think causes some people to overshare on social media?

Majority of them simply do this out of immaturity, while most of them do this just to get engagement, hence they are willing to do anything.

Being naive and immaturity is the cost of oversharing on social media some just get overwhelmed over nothing and end up doing such
