What do you think tax is of importance for the nation?

For me l can say that tax is very important for the developing countries especially those countries that don't do exports, mining, tourism among other activities for the truth of the matter.

I think tax is crucial for a nation's development, it's the backbone of infrastructure and public services. I feel like when taxes are utilized effectively, they can drive economic growth, fund essential services, and promote social welfare, benefiting citizens and businesses alike.

In my country, through 2024, the government budget was funded by taxes by over 70%. This means that tax revenues are a significant source of revenue for the government. However, unfortunately, tax revenues are not fully utilized for the welfare of the people.
