What do you use to assume the financial level of a person you just met?

There are many things that people use to judge the financial position of a person. Some of those things are their appearance and their gadgets.

Imagine you just met someone that proposes business to you, what would you use to judge the person's financial position?

There are so many ways i can use to do this, their perfume is one of them, the way they talk or the kind of phone they use can be a way to determine their financial status, then again there are people who pretend to be who they are not.

All of these parameters can fail you. Sometimes, poor people can really invest in all of the perfume and phone things for you to assume they are rich.

Yes which is why i said then again there are people who pretend to be who they are not, or there are some who invest in looking good but are not up to that level financially.

I don't just assume the financial position of a person till I get to know their net worth. Looks can be deceiving.

I will not judge a person's financial status by looking at what s(he) wears. If I do business with him/her, I'll check his/her educational background, current job or business s(he) is working on, and is his/her business is doing well.
