What does a "luxury wears" business imply?

I just saw a business being defined as dealing in luxury wears. What is the implication of that definition. Does it mean the doesn't sell average clothes? Is the target market definitive to only cater for affluent and wealthy people?

The word "luxury" in the business description shows that they only sell premium wears. I can relate with that. Not for your average Joe.

It's just a way they use to attract people, whatever they sell they classify it as luxury just to make people feel they are buying top quality only.

Luxury wears business is often assumed as a boutique that only provides clothing and accessories from famous brands such as Gucci, Christian Dior HERMÈS, Louis Vuitton, SAINT LAURENT etc. Of course this luxury clothing business has its own market share, or targets the upper class such as celebrities, high officials, rich people etc. Of course luxury clothing boutiques do not sell everyday and cheap clothes.

Luxury there is high-end clothing and accessories, made by premium materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and often a focus on luxury design and style.

Business which sells luxury clothing means that they sell premium, top quality clothing to the affluent customers.
