What Financial Skills Should We Learn?

Not everyone has the financial skills to manage their finances, although currently there is a lot of software available, we also need basic financial skills to be able to use the software effectively. As a layman, I need financial skills, so that I can achieve a stable and established financial condition. In your opinion, what financial skills should I learn?

I think, you have to understand the comprehensive set of skills that are high valued across various financial positions like accounting skills.

For personal finance management, I just use Excel to do my income and expenditure forecast. But I think you need to know the basics such as compound interest.

Financial skills like averaging our daily expenses and even our income do go a long way because this way we can know how much we are learning and spending on an average

We should learn the financial skills of taking right financial decisions in the face of many options. That's not a skill many people have.

We need to learn how to buy things that are essentials to us. And stop spending on frivolities. Being able to make the right judgement on financial needs is a skill that everyone needs to learn.
