Cases pending in court remain active within the legal system, subject to ongoing processes and procedures. These cases await resolution through various stages, including discovery, pre-trial motions, and potentially a trial. The timeline for resolution can vary widely depending on factors such as the case's complexity, the court’s caseload, and the availability of parties and witnesses.

Further, during the pendency of a case, the parties may engage in negotiations or mediation to reach a settlement agreement. If a settlement is not reached, the case will proceed towards trial, where evidence is presented, and a judge or jury renders a decision.

Furthermore, the court may issue orders or rulings on various matters during the pendency of the case, such as discovery disputes or motions to dismiss. Cases can also be dismissed or withdrawn by the parties involved, resulting in their removal from the court’s docket.

Moreover, the goal is for each pending case to reach a fair and just resolution, whether through settlement, trial, or other means.

Cases in court really take their time. They're like in this long waiting game with all those stages like discovery and pre trial stuff. Sometimes the parties might chat it out to settle, but if not, it’s trial time. And there’s always new rulings in between, all part of the legal dance. Just gotta hope for a fair outcome in the end

Those pending cases that seem eternal might be questionable especially if the case is either rape or murder. If the judge is bribed by the criminal, most likely, the case will take some years to be finalized.
