I really have not been into Discord. I only know that it is an Instant Messaging tool that is primed for remote team management. Nothing more. And I have been hearing about Discord Server. What is it really? And what are it's functions?!

Personally, I think Discord has evolved a lot from just a messaging tool for gamers or remote teams. A Discord server, in my opinion, is like a kind of digital community where you can bring together different people with shared interests. The main function is creating text and voice channels, which allows you to chat, share files, organize events, or simply stay in touch. It's very useful for managing large groups, since you can have various categories and specialized channels, depending on the group's needs. Furthermore, it allows for roles and permissions, so you can control who can do what in each channel, which helps maintain order. Personally, I see Discord as a versatile platform that goes far beyond gaming, serving communities, work teams, or even creative projects. It has many features that facilitate online interaction and collaboration in a simple and effective way.
