Internal memo is used to communicate within the internal structure of a business organization. That's what staff use to update each other on internal programs and projects.
This can be said you be short, official, written communication used within an organization to share information or directives within a workplace

A memo is a short message in the form of information or recommendations that can be done between departments in a company or a vertical memo from superiors to subordinates which is an instruction, currently memos are more often sent via Whatsapp messages, no longer in paper form.
It's a formal business document designed for swift and clear communication between people within the company.
