What is OTC trading?

I have been hearing about OTC trading. And I don't seem to understand what it is all about. What does OTC trading in crypto mean? How is it carried out? Which platforms do you know that is offering Over the Counter crypto trading for its user base?

It stands for over the counter, and it is an alternative market where people with a lot of capital and influence operate, not available to retail investors.

I know if it's the same with forex though but from what I heard it is usually more volatile than your regular trading, and it can be done on weekends as well.

OTC is a large trading platform between two people/institutions that do not affect the crypto market or have little impact on the crypto market. OTC platforms are also available on various well-known exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase and Binance. Valr.com etc.
