For me l oftenly hear my potential customers saying that they would promote my business on a later date meaning that they are not ready to buy at that time. Can l say that they patronise my business even if they buy once on my business?

Patronizing and promoting have distinct meanings. Patronizing, in this context, refers to the act of being a regular customer or supporting a business with your purchases. Promoting, on the other hand, is actively working to increase awareness and sales of a product or service through marketing and advertising.

In the context of business, patronizing is often interpreted as supporting without being asked, often considering oneself superior and experienced, but often just talk/promises that are never fulfilled, while promoters are more active in marketing your business. either by word of mouth or on social media.
