This happens very much in my country. Products that are imported from other countries are sold far cheaper than the same product that are produced in the country.

What is the explanation that goods brought in from outside the country would sell cheaper than same products produced in the country.

It's common in many countries for imported products to be cheaper than domestic ones, and there are several reasons for this. One of the main reasons is that many countries may have lower production costs due to lower wages, less stringent environmental or labor regulations, or a more efficient economy in certain aspects. Additionally, exporting countries can offer more competitive prices to open markets and increase sales, making imported products more affordable. Government subsidy or aid policies in the country of origin can also play a role, allowing for cost reductions and lower prices. Furthermore, logistics and transportation costs can be low if imports are made from nearby countries or countries with favorable trade agreements. All of this creates a scenario where imported products seem more attractive, although that doesn't always mean they are of better quality.

The cost of transportation for importing the products is one major reason as to why the price is usually more expensive than the locally made ones.
