For people that want to buy crypto directly from the crypto exchange using fiat currency like the USD, there is always charges involved.

How much does Coinbase and Binance charge to buy crypto directly from them using fiat?

When I deposit cash/fiat money to either Binance or Coinbase, there is no fee, except for bank charges. But when I make a transaction to buy crypto, a taker fee of 0.1% will be charged. In addition, if the crypto purchase is made from my country, a VAT of 12% of the transaction value will be charged.
