What is the highest amount of cash as in physical notes that you have carried about?

I have carried more than $100 and even more too as early on I used to carry cash but have stopped and now prefer to pay online or via my credit card

There are so many sellers in my own country that don't like bank transfers and any form of electronic transactions. Those ones in rural areas are typical examples.

The highest amount of paper notes that I can carry about now is $50. And that is even very rare. Financial dealings are electronic for me.

One reason to not opt for is to not to pay the taxes because with cash nobody will know that they have sold the material and they can easily evade taxes

it should be about 200,000 Naira where i went to buy a deep freezer and I had the money at home. I didn't see the need for a trsnsfer

Things have changed and now not many people carry cash and those carry cash is for sellers that don't accept payment online or they are trying to not get caught by tax departments.
